Terms & Services
Key terms that govern how we provide and support our home security and telecom services.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Services (“Terms”) describe how Home Guard Telecom (“we”, “us”, “our”) delivers home security and telecom services to you (“you”, “customer”). By requesting a consultation, purchasing equipment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
We provide design, installation, configuration, and optional monitoring for CCTV systems, alarm systems, smart home security, video door phones, and telecom security solutions. The specific services you receive will be described in your quotation or service agreement.
3. Consultations and Proposals
Initial consultations are provided to understand your property and requirements. Any proposals or quotations we issue are based on the information you provide and are valid for a limited period as stated in the document.
4. Installations
Installations are performed by trained technicians. You are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to the property and that any necessary permissions, such as landlord or building approvals, are obtained.
5. Equipment Ownership
Unless otherwise specified, equipment purchased from us becomes your property once payment is received in full. Some monitoring or connectivity hardware may remain the property of service partners and must be returned on request.
6. Monitoring and Third-Party Services
Monitoring services, cloud storage, and connectivity may be provided in partnership with third parties. Additional terms from those providers may apply. We will clearly identify any such services in your agreement.
7. Responsibilities
- You are responsible for using the system in accordance with local laws, including privacy regulations.
- You should promptly inform us of any faults, security concerns, or changes to your property that affect the system.
- You are responsible for keeping access credentials and passcodes confidential.
8. Payment and Fees
Fees for equipment, installation, and ongoing services are outlined in your quotation or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on or before the installation date, with recurring fees billed according to the selected plan.
9. Service Availability
We design systems with reliability in mind, but no system can guarantee uninterrupted operation. Power outages, connectivity issues, and third-party service failures may affect performance. We are not liable for losses arising from such interruptions, except where required by law.
10. Warranties and Support
We provide warranties on equipment and workmanship as described in your agreement. Support services may be included or available as additional options. We will always aim to resolve faults promptly and transparently.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims related to our services is limited to the amounts you have paid for the affected services. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as loss of data or business.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating this page and, where appropriate, contacting you directly.
